Position Overview
We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Substance Use Recovery Worker at Turning Point. This role is designed to assist individuals in their journey towards recovery from substance use challenges. The position is part-time, requiring a commitment of 18 hours per week, with the possibility of working on weekends and evenings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for a designated group of service users
- Offer guidance, resources, and therapeutic interventions
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and community partners
- Maintain effective communication and embody the values of Turning Point
Candidate Profile:
The successful applicant will possess a solid understanding of substance and alcohol use issues, along with strong interpersonal communication abilities.
