Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Account Handler to join our team at Rev & Regs. As an Insurance Account Handler, you will be responsible for administering clients' insurance requirements on a daily basis, including general enquiries, renewals, mid-term adjustments, obtaining quotations, closing sales, invoicing of premiums, and cross-selling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Service: Assist in achieving Group client retention targets by providing an excellent level of service to clients.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaise effectively with clients to ensure an appropriate strategy for renewal and undertake market exercises to establish the most competitive terms available.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Produce and issue professional summaries and reports using company templates, and record all relevant information, correspondence, and documentation in the broking system.
  • Work Management: Prioritize and handle all work promptly and accurately, and refer all queries that fall outside your experience, knowledge, and authority to senior staff.
  • Cross-Selling: Actively cross-sell products from other divisions and liaise with and assist other departments as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Technical Insurance Skills: Good level of technical insurance skills, to be assessed by regular in-house testing.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Accuracy and attention to detail in processing work quickly and efficiently.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Client Service Skills: Excellent client service skills, including negotiation and broking skills, and the ability to persuade and influence others.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to gather and analyze information from clients.
