Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Account Handler to join our team at The Recruiter Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling fleet insurance accounts, working closely with account executives and colleagues to ensure excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain existing fleet insurance accounts, ensuring timely and accurate processing of mid-term adjustments and new business.
- Underwrite and generate terms, ensuring they meet the necessary rate increases required by insurers.
- Deal with account executive and colleague queries, providing timely and accurate responses within agreed authority limits.
- Liaise with insurers and colleagues to understand and assess risks, reviewing quotations and ensuring adherence to underwriting guidelines.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date paper files and system records for new and existing business.
- Share responsibility for dealing with mid-term adjustments, claims, and other client-related matters.
- Respond to client enquiries in a courteous and helpful manner, ensuring all necessary information is obtained and communicated.
- Oversee surveys and risk improvements, ensuring timely completion.
- Organize and prioritize work allocation, regularly reporting to the team manager.
- Adhere to compliance and regulatory procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience in fleet insurance account handling or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of underwriting guidelines and regulatory procedures.
