CRA GROUP LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled Building Control Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization meets its statutory duty of enforcing the Building Regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and other allied legislation.
  • Conduct inspections of construction projects and take appropriate action on dangerous structures and proposed demolitions.
  • Work with junior members of staff to provide technical expertise and ensure compliance is achieved.
  • Represent the authority in ensuring that new building developments and alterations to existing buildings meet the requirements of Building Regulations.
  • Attend emergency callouts 24/7/365 for immediate response to requests from Emergency Services.
Requirements
  • Degree HNC or degree equivalent in a construction-related discipline.
  • Membership of a professional body such as RICS CABE or CIOB.
  • Achieved or working towards a minimum of Class 2 registration.
  • 5 years Building Control experience either with a local authority or a private organization.
