We are seeking a highly skilled Building Control Surveyor to join our team at CRA GROUP LIMITED. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization meets its statutory duty of enforcing the Building Regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and other relevant legislation.
  • Conduct site inspections and examinations of plans to ensure compliance.
  • Take appropriate action on dangerous structures and proposed demolitions.
  • Work with junior members of staff to ensure compliance and provide technical expertise.
  • Represent the authority in ensuring new building developments and alterations meet Building Regulations.
  • Attend emergency callouts and respond to requests from Emergency Services.
Requirements
  • Degree or HNC in a construction-related discipline.
  • Membership of a professional body such as RICS, CABE, or CIOB.
  • Achieved or working towards a minimum of Class 2 registration.
  • 5 years of experience in Building Control, either with a local authority or private organization.
