We are seeking a Knowledge & Information Services Market Intelligence Research Analyst to join our team at Burges Salmon, working in a hybrid model. In this position, you will collect, organize, and provide essential information on clients, prospects, and industry sectors, enabling our legal teams to thrive.

Please note that this role is offered on a part-time basis (21 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive research and analysis to generate current reports on clients, potential clients, and target sectors. Create competitive intelligence reports for benchmarking and strategic insights. Build strong relationships with legal and business development teams to enhance the use of business information services. Proactively assess and suggest improvements to our business research methodologies and deliverables. Collaborate with the Knowledge and Information Services (KIS) team to promote awareness among lawyers regarding business information resources through engaging presentations.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information from various sources into clear, concise reports. Expertise in information gathering techniques, including proficient use of online resources. A solid grasp of business environments and corporate structures. Discretion in managing sensitive and confidential information. Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written. A detail-oriented approach to tasks, with a focus on accuracy. Ability to maintain composure under pressure and prioritize effectively. A collaborative mindset, eager to contribute as part of a dedicated team.
