Technology & Systems Division:

The Technology & Systems division at Vantage is pivotal in driving technological advancements and shaping our global technology strategy. This innovative team engages in IT, Software Development, Operational Technology/Automation Systems, and optimizing business processes.

Position Overview: IT Construction Engineer

We are seeking an IT Construction Engineer who is enthusiastic about providing outstanding technical support. In this role, you will be instrumental in addressing hardware and software issues while ensuring compliance with company policies and service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary expert for the IT department on construction initiatives.
  • Design and establish resilient, fault-tolerant IT networks.
  • Develop and oversee Hypervisors, as well as Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Work closely with Construction Project Managers and General Contractors to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
  • Manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth technical knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, VMWare vSphere/ESX, Office 365, Firewalls, Storage, and Networking.
  • Preferred certifications such as CCNA or VCP, along with experience in critical infrastructure environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and presentations.
  • Experience in designing IT infrastructure for new construction projects is highly desirable.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
