Key Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Construction Specialist, your role will encompass:
  • Acting as a liaison for the construction team, ensuring that work package scopes align with overall project objectives, particularly in manufacturing and installation methodologies.
  • Assisting project management and procurement teams in supplier selection and procurement processes.
  • Providing expert technical input to various project phases, including constructability assessments and risk management.
  • Overseeing supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of work scopes while adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Ensuring compliance of mechanical systems with relevant legislation and standards.
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to foster professional development.
  • Delivering project documentation such as scope documents, safety plans, and tender packages.
  • Monitoring project schedules and making necessary adjustments to meet milestones.
  • Implementing assurance programs throughout the manufacturing and installation processes.
  • Maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and collaboration.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a BTEC HNC in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification, along with demonstrable experience in mechanical engineering processes, including design, procurement, and installation.
