Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Commercial Administrator to manage subcontractor information and payment procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate data records, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage subcontractor information and payment procedures
- Maintain accurate data records using a specialist database
- Process invoices and ensure timely payment
- Assist in the execution of subcontractor payments
- Keep accurate records of certificates, payments, and orders
- Assess and clear invoice queries, where possible
- Complete AFP filing correctly and on time
- Administer permits, licenses, and consents
- Liaise with the construction team to ensure correct documentation is submitted
- Minute and action take core and ad-hoc meetings
- Liaise with Building regulations and warranty providers
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role
- Proficient knowledge and use of MS office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Good communication skills and confidence with processes and terminology
- Confidence in dealing with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities
