Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automation & Controls Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems in our data centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Automation System Design and Implementation
    • Design and implement automation systems for data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and security systems.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure automation systems meet customer requirements.
  • System Maintenance and Troubleshooting
    • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on automation systems to ensure optimal performance.
    • Identify and resolve issues with automation systems, including hardware and software faults.
  • Technical Support and Training
    • Provide technical support and training to site operations teams on automation systems.
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation for automation systems.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure automation systems meet customer requirements.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure automation systems meet customer needs.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 3-5 years of experience in industrial automation, preferably in a data center environment.
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as electrical engineering or computer science.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong knowledge of automation systems, including control loops, field IO, and communication protocols.
    • Experience with industrial PLC systems and programming languages, such as Rockwell Automation software platform.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
