Job Title: Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer

At Nicholas Associates Graduate Placements, we are seeking a talented Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of our products, working closely with our experienced engineers to create innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop products and prototypes using Solid Works
  • Create detailed drawings for manufacture and assembly
  • Prepare Bills of Materials, exploded drawings, and manuals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient product development
  • Develop strong IT skills and confidence in MS Office and Excel, with database skills an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships quickly
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in pneumatic circuits, manufacturing techniques, electronic control cabinets, and conveyor construction
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
