Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a talented Graduate Mechanical/Design Engineer to join our team at Nicholas Associates Group Limited.
About the Role:
As a Graduate Mechanical/Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative products and prototypes using SolidWorks. Your role will involve creating detailed drawings for manufacture and assembly, preparing Bills of Materials, and ensuring attention to detail due to short manufacturing lead times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop products and prototypes in SolidWorks
- Create detailed drawings for manufacture and assembly
- Prepare Bills of Materials and exploded drawings
- Ensure attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Develop strong IT skills and confidence in MS Office and Excel
- Build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- Work in a collaborative environment to achieve project goals
Requirements:
We are looking for a degree-qualified individual with a strong understanding of mechanical design principles and a passion for innovation. Experience in pneumatic circuits, manufacturing techniques, and electronic control cabinets construction is highly desirable.
