Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a talented Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Nicholas Associates Group Limited.
About the Role:
As a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical products and solutions. Your primary focus will be on creating detailed designs, prototypes, and manufacturing plans using SolidWorks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical products and prototypes, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and functionality.
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for manufacture and assembly.
- Prepare Bills of Materials, exploded drawings, and user manuals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development and launch.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design software and technologies, including SolidWorks.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and other design software.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with pneumatic circuits, manufacturing techniques, and electronic control cabinets.
- Knowledge of belt and pulley drive systems, conveyor construction, and motor/gearbox sizing.
