About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join our team at Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd. As a key member of our Water Team, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice to clients on flood risk and drainage strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare Flood Risk Assessments and conceptual designs for flood protection measures and drainage strategies.
  • Lead the design of flood protection measures and drainage systems for residential, retail, industrial, and commercial developments.
  • Develop and implement SuDS strategies using Microdrainage software.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to deliver projects and provide technical support.
  • Assist with fee proposals and support the preparation of project documentation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in flood risk and drainage engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of river modeling software, MAP-Info, and QGIS.
  • Experience with Microdrainage software and Sewers for Adoption/Sewerage Sector Guidance.
  • Ability to prepare Flood Risk Assessments and complex drainage strategies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
