About the Role:

An exciting opportunity exists for a Spa Receptionist at Jumeirah Carlton Tower. The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Scheduling appointments for members to receive various services offered by the Spa, handling inquiries both in person and over the phone, while explaining cancellation policies and collecting necessary payment details.
  • Opening and closing the Spa in accordance with the established 'Operations Manual.'
  • Ensuring that the Changing Rooms are consistently stocked with essential guest supplies (e.g., soap, shampoo, water, cups, toilet paper, hand towels, etc.) throughout the day.
  • Generating invoices for all services or products utilized by Spa members.
  • Ensuring that all members settle their accounts for services or products at the time of use.
  • Managing the cash float, reconciling daily revenue for the Spa, and depositing any received funds with the Front Office Cashier at the end of each day.
  • Familiarizing oneself with the hotel's employee handbook and adhering to the hotel's policies and regulations, particularly those related to Fire, Hygiene, Health, and Safety.
  • Complying with local legislation as required.
  • Adapting to any departmental changes as dictated by company needs.
  • Maintaining personal fitness, wearing the provided staff uniform, and ensuring a neat and tidy appearance with impeccable personal hygiene.

About You:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within a 4- or 5-star hotel or fitness club.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a warm, welcoming demeanor to deliver outstanding customer service to guests.
  • Proficiency in managing reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of spa services, treatments, and amenities to effectively assist guests and provide relevant information.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated capacity to uphold confidentiality and discretion when handling guest information, ensuring a high level of privacy and trust in all interactions.
