As a Reservations Agent at Hyde London City, you will be the primary point of contact for guests booking their stay. Your role will involve providing exceptional service, making guests feel at home, and driving sales.

Key Tasks
  • Respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date on hotel events and local happenings.
  • Quote rates, process, and confirm reservations via email or phone, adhering to department guidelines.
  • Maximize sales by adopting a sales mindset and capitalizing on opportunities to upsell.
  • Highlight additional services or special packages to boost sales.
  • Ensure accurate billing information and payment methods for each reservation.
  • Secure bookings and charge no-show or late cancellation fees when necessary.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a similar position within a 4/5-star hotel.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills and excellent command of the English language.
  • Previous experience working with OPERA.
  • Boutique hotel experience is advantageous.
  • A humble and open-minded approach, willing to consider new ideas.
  • A willingness to try new approaches and adapt to changing circumstances.
