Nurse Advisor Job Description

Archard Talent Limited is seeking a skilled Nurse Advisor to join our team in Crawley. As a key member of our office team, you will provide training on clinical needs and participate in Clinical Governance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide training on clinical needs such as PEG, Buccal medication, suction, and more.
  • Participate in Clinical Governance activities, including clinical supervision, and accurately record all patient care activities in accordance with SOPs, work instructions, and professional and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Management, Case Managers, Psychologists, OTs, and other healthcare professionals in person-centred care planning.
  • Contribute to setting and maintaining standards of professional competence and current nursing practices, always adhering to The NMC code.
  • Maintain a professional profile through Continuing Professional Development, share knowledge with the team to enhance patient care, and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Promote a positive organisational environment that encourages high staff morale and performance.
  • Monitor and assist with the induction of newly appointed staff as needed.
  • Assist in developing customer relationships with clients when required.
  • Support the management team providing a safe, effective, caring, and responsive service.
Requirements:

  • Current and unrestricted NMC Registration ideally with experience of providing training.
  • Ability to provide care with compassion and empathy.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with behaviours that challenge.
