Special Educational Needs Instructor

TimePlan Education is seeking a qualified educator to join a primary school specializing in profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD).

This position is full-time and involves the planning and delivery of core subjects for a Key Stage 1 class.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and design engaging and interactive lessons.
  • Teach students with PMLD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Foster engagement and support the learning of all pupils.
  • Build therapeutic relationships with students.
  • Encourage and facilitate the inclusion of all students in educational activities to enhance their learning outcomes.
  • Exhibit strong behavior management skills.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Current DBS registration with the online update service or willingness to apply for a new one.
