Finance Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Planning & Performance team within Finance. As a key member of our centre of excellence for strategic planning, forecasting, and performance management, you will play a critical role in driving sustainable and purpose-led value for the bank's broad stakeholder groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and challenge our franchises to drive income improvement, cost efficiencies, and effective deployment of balance sheet and capital across our franchises and divisions.
  • Work with customers and strategic finance partners to identify and define opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Develop and maintain financial planning models that deliver timely, robust, and action-oriented outputs to drive commercial discussions and decisions.
  • Provide business reports and commentary to explain data movements and outlook for future periods.
  • Collaborate with technology partners to deliver information and simplify financial models and management dashboards.
Requirements
  • Strong financial, analytical, and logical skills, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to work well with teams in different locations and departments.
  • Practical experience of forecasting and budgeting, with technical and non-technical communication of findings.
  • A degree-level qualification in Accounting & Finance or a related field, or equivalent experience.
