Business Support Officer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Support Officer to join our Housing Allocations department at North Northamptonshire Council.

As a Business Support Officer, you will provide administrative support for the Housing Allocations team, ensuring the smooth operation of our choice-based allocations scheme, Keyways.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advice and assistance to customers on the Council's housing register
  • Assisting the Allocations Manager in the day-to-day operation of Keyways
  • Processing all housing applications to agreed standards and timescales
  • Notifying housing applicants of their application status and how to bid
  • Responding to applicants' enquiries concerning all aspects of the Keyways scheme
  • Collating property details and advertising vacant properties

You will work closely with the Allocations Manager to ensure the effective management of housing applications and the provision of excellent customer service.
