Estates Support Officer

Protocol National Limited is seeking a skilled and motivated Estates Support Officer to join their dedicated estates team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining the College's building stock, ensuring they meet high standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and ensure the availability, cleanliness, and functionality of teaching facilities, including furniture, fixtures, and fittings, to provide a high-quality student experience.
- Perform minor repairs on-site, such as replacing light bulbs, fixing leaking taps, touching up paintwork, repairing door handles, and toilet cisterns.
- Escalate additional works and repairs to the helpdesk promptly.
- Ensure daily emptying of bins, sweeping debris within car parks and grounds, and litter picking throughout the day.
- Monitor the performance of outsourced cleaners and grounds staff.
- Conduct small ground works, such as repairing potholes and performing grounds maintenance as needed.
- Assist with furniture, equipment, and office moves as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar handyman or caretaker role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform the duties required, including lifting and moving furniture and equipment.
