Are you interested in contributing to a dedicated team of support professionals and Occupational Therapists, ensuring that reablement staff effectively implement care plans that enhance community support? This position is tailored for you.
Norfolk First Support provides essential services to adults in their residences for a limited duration, aiding them in regaining lost skills following health challenges or hospital stays. The primary goal is to foster independence while assessing any continued support that may be necessary.
As part of the broader Norfolk First Response Service, which encompasses various support units, you will play a vital role in the Operational Management team for Norfolk First Support, with a specific emphasis on guiding a team of Support Workers. Your responsibilities will include overseeing Reablement Assistant Practitioners and Support Workers, offering daily assistance, guidance, and regular supervision to optimize resource utilization and ensure high-quality service delivery.
Collaboration with other professionals is essential, leveraging voluntary and community resources to provide the highest standard of care to individuals and their families.
You will engage with Registered Service Managers, Reablement Assistant Practitioners, and fellow Operational Managers regarding the effective provision of reablement support.
Monitoring electronic staffing and scheduling systems will be part of your role to guarantee the seamless operation of services.
Candidates should possess experience in working with individuals and demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with the public. Strong judgment, initiative, and the capacity to prioritize tasks are essential.
This role presents an exciting challenge within a multidisciplinary team, requiring knowledge of current policies, practices, and legislation in Health and Social Care. A passion for engaging with the public and collaborating with other professionals in the field is crucial.
