We are pleased to announce a remarkable opportunity for a dedicated Senior Psychiatric Consultant to join a distinguished neurological service. This role is based within a reputable healthcare organization, recognized for its exceptional standards in mental health care.

This facility specializes in providing comprehensive care, therapeutic interventions, and rehabilitation pathways for individuals facing neurological or mental health challenges, particularly those exhibiting complex behavioral issues.

**Candidates must possess an MRCPsychiatry or an equivalent qualification, along with full GMC registration to be eligible for this position.**

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation of the Mental Health Act, clinical policies, and standards, ensuring compliance in all administrative tasks related to service users.
  • Evaluate and manage the medical services through systematic audits, ensuring that clinical practices are evidence-based and uphold the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with external partners to facilitate the reintegration of service users into the community.
  • Lead multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance collaborative care.
  • Ensure the effective operation of the Care Programme Approach for service users.
  • Participate in the assessment of referrals, ensuring that the service meets the needs of appropriately admitted individuals.
  • Contribute to the training and professional development of staff across various disciplines.
  • Engage in Clinical Governance initiatives to maintain quality care.

Compensation and Benefits:
