Job Summary

Elysium Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team. As a senior member of our neurological service, you will provide expert care and leadership to our patients and staff.

About the Role

  • Providing high-quality care to patients with complex neurological and mental health conditions
  • Leading and managing a team of healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes
  • Developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care
  • Collaborating with external stakeholders to ensure seamless care pathways for our patients
  • Conducting unit rounds, assessments, and reviews to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients
  • Delivering regular supervision and training to junior members of the team

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Medically qualified with MRCPsych or equivalent
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Leadership ability and experience in a management role
  • Knowledge of current developments in psychiatry and mental health
  • Ability to affect change professionally and organisationally
