Position Summary:
We are on the lookout for a proficient and dependable Site Preparation Specialist to become a vital part of our construction crew.

The Site Preparation Specialist will play a crucial role in the initial stages of construction, ensuring that sites are well-prepared and secure for subsequent trades.

This position demands a strong commitment to quality, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to work under various environmental conditions.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Clear construction sites by removing debris, excavating trenches, and compacting soil materials.
  • Set up drainage systems, install piping, and establish manholes and inspection chambers.
  • Mix and pour concrete for foundational structures and other necessary installations.
  • Assist in the construction of roadways, pathways, and other ground-level infrastructure.
  • Uphold health and safety standards across all job sites.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow construction professionals, including engineers, architects, and project supervisors.
  • Conduct general maintenance and repair activities on construction sites as required.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Site Preparation Specialist or in a comparable role within the construction field.
  • Familiarity with construction processes, tools, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to interpret construction plans and blueprints.
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools pertinent to the role.
  • Physical endurance and capability to perform manual tasks in diverse weather conditions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • A valid driver's license and dependable transportation are advantageous.
  • Certification in construction safety (e.g., CSCS card) is preferred.
