Job Summary:
Northern Security Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team as a Site Protection Specialist. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing a professional security presence on site, ensuring the safety and security of customers, property, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Security and Surveillance: Conduct regular internal and external site patrols to deter and detect any potential security threats.
- Access Control and Egress: Control access and egress to the site, ensuring only authorized personnel enter and exit the premises.
- Customer and Staff Protection: Provide a visible security presence to protect customers and staff from potential harm.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, security breaches, and other relevant security-related information.
Requirements:
- Security Clearance: Hold a valid SIA licence and be higher level security cleared.
- Transportation: Possess a reliable mode of transportation to travel to and from the site.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Background Check: Be able to provide a 5-year checkable history to complete BS7858 vetting and screening.
