Job Title: Transportation Business Coach

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and forward-thinking Transportation Business Coach to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled professional to manage and improve the service levels, capacities, and costs of our EU Transportation Line Haul. The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking existing metrics, detecting and removing defects, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track existing metrics to detect and remove defects
  • Line haul performance management (e.g. on-time truck performance)
  • Continuous Improvement Management
  • Coach, educate and facilitate the growth relationship between Amazon and our dedicated transport partners
  • Support Contract management and contract compliance for partners
  • Q4 planning and execution (Amazon Peak)
  • Support the Operations Planning (OP) Process: goal settings
  • Prepare and participate recurrent Ops calls, business reviews, QBRs, Customer Service workshops (to support the improvement plans)
  • Maintain and improve communication, process and Fulfillment Center/partner interface
  • Develop relationships with Partners to encourage and facilitate communication to drive new opportunities
Requirements
  • Possession of a degree
  • Experience in supply chain
  • Experience in program or project management
  • Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience leading process improvements
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
  • Knowledge in SQL
  • Possess a CPCP
