Job Title: Health and Safety Manager - Construction Fit Out

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Hunter Mason Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of our Health and Safety Policy across all business and project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive Health and Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  2. Conduct regular site visits to monitor Health and Safety performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide guidance to site managers and staff.
  3. Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement Health and Safety plans, risk assessments, and training programs.
  4. Lead or assist in Health and Safety support on larger projects, attending pre-start meetings, and maintaining accurate safety records.
  5. Provide expert advice on Health and Safety legislation, identify training needs, and implement systems for accident and risk management.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in Health and Safety Management in the Construction Sector, preferably within Partitions / Internals / Fit Out.
  2. NEBOSH Qualified is essential.
  3. CSCS Black Card is desirable.
  4. CDM (Construction Design & Management Regulations) Knowledge & Experience.
  5. Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  6. Strong organization and time management skills.
