Job Summary:

Hunter Mason Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team in the Construction sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and maintenance of our Health and Safety Policy across all business and project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit sites to support managers with health and safety issues, compile risk assessments, and ensure subcontractors meet safety standards.
  • Advise on health and safety legislation, identify training needs, and implement systems for accident and risk management.
  • Conduct unannounced site visits, spot checks, and regular site inspections, reporting findings to directors.
  • Lead or assist in health and safety support on larger projects, attending prestart meetings, and maintaining accurate safety records.

Requirements:

  • Proven Health and Safety Management experience in the Construction Sector, ideally within Partitions / Internals / Fit Out.
  • NEBOSH Qualified is essential.
  • CSCS Black Card is desirable.
  • CDM (Construction Design & Management Regulations) Knowledge & Experience.
  • Willingness to travel to Sites.
  • Exceptional written and spoken English skills.
  • Organisation and time management skills.
