Job Summary

EF Education First is seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to join our host family recruitment team as a Host Family Liaison. This role plays a key part in creating enriching cultural exchanges for students and local communities alike.

About the Role

As a Host Family Liaison, you will be the friendly face of EF, visiting potential host families, guiding them through paperwork, and ensuring all information is properly uploaded to our system. You will also play a part in ensuring safeguarding, keeping our records up-to-date, and joining in on EF events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visiting host families and completing paperwork (with a strong focus on compliance)
  • Liaising with our existing host family community and handling enquiries
  • Matching international students with host families and assisting in placements
  • Participating in EF events
  • Following up with newly collected paperwork and entering information into a database
  • Keeping host family database up-to-date

Requirements

  • Highly motivated, energetic, and positive with a sociable and outgoing personality
  • Friendly and approachable manner, not afraid to speak to strangers
  • Highly organised and thorough, able to use initiative and work unsupervised
  • Excellent communicator with external clients such as host families, students, and colleagues
  • A flexible approach to work and hours of work undertaken is essential
  • Have the right to live and work in the UK
  • Complete fluency in English
  • All offers are subject to a clear DBS check and two references
  • Has access to a car (desired)
