Salary: £30,000 - £40,000, based on experience

Premier Engineering is a renowned manufacturer specializing in high-precision equipment. We are currently seeking a Mechanical Systems Engineer to enhance our team in Surrey.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a related Design / Mechanical Engineering role.
  • Familiarity with electronics, precision instruments, or mechanical systems is advantageous.
  • Proficient in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or Creo.
  • Educational background in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ).
  • Understanding of various materials including sheet metal and injection-moulded plastics.
  • Strong theoretical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and the ability to work with tight tolerances.
  • Competent in using MS Office applications.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small, multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing 3D CAD for conceptual design and generating technical documentation.
  • Participating in the final assembly of products.
  • Creating necessary design documentation along with project reports and plans.
  • Updating 3D models and technical drawings as required.
  • Collaborating with a small, multi-disciplinary team on diverse projects.
