Job Title: Senior Controls Hardware and Software Programme Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Controls Hardware and Software Programme Manager to join our divisional engineering team to ensure the successful project delivery of the right hardware and software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the full project lifecycle for a broad range of hardware and software development projects, working with cross-functional teams and with external suppliers and partners.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and R&D teams to generate and refine product requirements, features, and improvement requests for innovative control hardware and software solutions.
  • Plan and oversee activities conducted by in-house and external development teams to deliver the right solutions, on time and in budget.
  • Liaise with the legal team on creation of NDAs, SLAs, master service agreements, and similar contracts.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to identify areas for improvement, escalating risks/issues as required.
  • Monitor, control, and report key project metrics (quality, cost, schedule, etc.).
  • Regularly present and publish progress reports at senior level and support preparation of key project and governance milestones (including CPR Gate Reviews).
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Requirements
  • Full Lifecycle Project Management experience
  • Financial and commercial awareness, good strong analytical skills
  • University degree in computer science, electronics, system engineering, or equivalent discipline
  • 3+ years relevant experience as a Project Manager
  • Proficient in English
  • Hybrid working environment
