About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical and Clinical Administrator to join our Adult Mental Health Services team in Ludlow. As a key member of our administrative team, you will play a vital role in supporting our Consultant Psychiatrists, Doctors, and Clinical Leads in delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to Consultant Psychiatrists, Doctors, and Clinical Leads, including typing clinical letters, managing diaries and clinics, and handling complex queries.
- Use your initiative to proactively resolve problems and improve administrative processes.
- Minute taking and day-to-day operational tasks to support the Consultant Psychiatrists, Doctors, and Clinical Leads.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
- Previous secretarial/administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent typing skills and ability to transcribe from audio with precision and speed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proficient in the use of Office Package (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc.).
- Ability to work in a busy service and prioritize tasks effectively.
