Management Accountant

Job Summary:
Marc Daniels is recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a leading manufacturer in a hybrid role that combines office and remote work. The ideal candidate will have experience with management accounts and be able to deliver high-quality financial results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Deliver the monthly close process efficiently, including accruals, prepayments, and bank reconciliations.
- Financial Transaction Management: Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, including banking, invoices, and journals.
- Credit Control: Take full responsibility for the credit control function, ensuring timely and accurate management of customer payments.
- Financial Planning: Provide assistance with cash flow, forecasting, and budgeting to support business growth and decision-making.
- Collaboration: Liaise with key managers to ensure effective communication and coordination of financial activities.
- System Implementation: Implement a new accounting system to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the finance department.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience preparing management accounts.
- Qualifications: Part- or fully-qualified in ACCA, CIMA, or QBE.
- Skills: Accurate with a strong attention to detail, able to handle multiple duties and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Xero experience is beneficial.
