About the Position

We are excited to present an opportunity for a skilled Stock Condition Surveyor to become a vital part of our Asset Management division. This role is essential in our mission to enhance existing homes and foster thriving communities.

In this role, you will conduct surveys to gather crucial data on our housing stock and broader property portfolio, ensuring compliance with required standards and enabling us to prioritize investments that meet our clients' needs while safeguarding the organization's long-term viability.


Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of property-related data.
  • Conduct Stock Condition and Investment surveys on properties in a timely manner.
  • Perform asbestos validation surveys as necessary.
  • Carry out assessments in accordance with the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS).
  • Assist the Lead Stock Condition Surveyor in establishing consistent standards for asset data collection to meet regulatory and business requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, health and safety legislation, and company policies.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of property-related IT systems that promote business improvement and innovation.
  • Guide and refer clients for additional support during property visits.
  • Assist in developing annual plans for maintenance and cyclical programs.
  • Provide detailed reports on property conditions and associated costs.
  • Support other organizational areas as needed to fulfill business objectives.
  • Assist in the cyclical external survey validation process.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a building-related qualification (ONC or equivalent) or have relevant experience in conducting stock condition and investment surveys. Familiarity with HHSRS and asbestos management processes is essential.

This role requires a strong customer service orientation, as it involves direct interaction with clients. A valid driving license is necessary due to the nature of the position.
