About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Stock Condition Surveyor to become a vital member of our Asset Management division. This role is crucial in our mission to enhance our existing properties and foster thriving communities.
Our commitment lies in delivering exceptional services and maintaining homes that are sustainable for the future. As a Stock Condition Surveyor, you will be responsible for gathering essential data on our properties to ensure compliance with required standards. This data will guide our investment strategies, aligning with our customers' needs and supporting the long-term sustainability of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accuracy and continuity of property-related data.
- Conduct Stock Condition and Investment surveys on properties in a timely manner.
- Perform asbestos validation surveys as necessary.
- Execute Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) assessments.
- Assist the Lead Stock Condition Surveyor in establishing consistent standards for asset data collection.
- Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, health and safety legislation, and organizational policies.
- Contribute to the development of property-related IT systems that promote business enhancement and innovation.
- Guide and refer clients for additional support during property visits.
- Assist in formulating annual plans for maintenance and cyclical programs.
- Prepare detailed reports on property conditions and associated costs.
- Support other organizational departments as needed.
- Facilitate the cyclical external survey validation process.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a building-related qualification (ONC or equivalent) or relevant experience in conducting stock condition and investment surveys. Familiarity with HHSRS and asbestos management protocols is essential.
This role involves direct interaction with clients, thus a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service is crucial. A valid driving license is required due to the nature of the position.
Desirable Qualifications
- P402 Asbestos qualification (willingness to undertake training if not already qualified).
- HHSRS Assessment qualification (willingness to undertake training if not already qualified).
