Role Overview

GAIA RECRUITMENT LIMITED is seeking a skilled Medical Assessor to join their team. As a Medical Assessor, you will play a crucial role in assessing the health and well-being of customers, providing written reports to the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP), and contributing to the decision-making process regarding support for customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess up to six customers per day, taking clinical observations and questioning to create a written report.
  • Provide detailed reports to the DWP, which will be used to inform decisions regarding support for customers.
  • Work closely with clinical tutors to develop industry-leading skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in ongoing CPD and revalidation support to maintain registration with the relevant professional bodies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year's experience working in a patient-facing role, dealing with a wide range of clinical conditions.
  • Highly literate, with excellent attention to detail and adaptable communication skills.
  • Computer or IT skills are a distinct advantage.
  • Typing or keyboard skills with the ability to type at 30 words per minute.
