Job Summary:

A leading SME engineering business is seeking a skilled Production Engineer to join their fast-paced manufacturing team. As a Production Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing processes and improving internal manufacturing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve manufacturing issues.
  2. Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  3. Analyze production data to optimize throughput and quality.
  4. Design and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  5. Serve as a liaison between design and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless product development.
  6. Investigate and resolve mechanical and electrical component issues to improve manufacturing processes.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in production or manufacturing engineering.
  2. Background in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  3. Ability to develop and implement process improvements.
  4. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
