Job Title: Senior Registered Nurse- Rehabilitation Unit

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Registered Nurse to join our team on the Children's Intensive Care Unit at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy regional Children's Intensive Care Unit, providing critical care for children across the East Midlands and to our network hospitals within our region. As a Senior Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the needs of critically ill patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Monitor and evaluate patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Act as a resource and advisor for junior staff, providing guidance and support as required
Requirements
  • Registered Children's Nurse or NMC registered with appropriate experience in the specialty
  • Post registration qualifications in PICU and HDU care
  • Degree level education in health related sciences
  • Recognised NMC teaching and assessing qualification
  • Advanced Paediatric Life Support Certification
