The Priory Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Learning Disability Nurse to join our team at Burton Park, a specialized neurobehavioral rehabilitation hospital. This 50-bed facility provides comprehensive care for patients with acquired brain injuries and neuro-progressive conditions.

Your Role: A Vital Part of the Team

As a Staff Nurse, you will play a crucial role in our transdisciplinary team, collaborating closely with psychologists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Contributing to comprehensive patient assessments.
  • Developing holistic care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Implementing effective risk management strategies.
  • Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans accordingly.
  • Administering medication safely and accurately.
  • Leading and supervising nursing staff, fostering a supportive environment.
  • Mentoring junior team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
  • Supporting recruitment and induction processes, welcoming new colleagues to the team.

Your Qualifications: Expertise and Compassion

  • A Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) or Registered Nurse Learning Disability (RNLD) qualification.
  • Proven experience working in a similar healthcare setting.
