Learning Disability Nurse

Service Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated Registered Learning Disability Nurse to join our team at one of our Independent Hospitals in Leicester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and provide interventions to address the physical and emotional needs of patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge and skills in learning disability nursing.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Previous experience in a community setting, preferably with individuals with learning disabilities.
- GCSEs in certain subjects, such as Maths, English, or Health and Social Care, are preferred.
- Fully enhanced DBS is preferred, and a car driver with a valid UK license is also preferred.
