About the RoleThe Study Programme Tutor will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing learning programmes for students aged 16-18. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement effective learning strategies, ensuring that our learners receive the best possible education and training.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality learning programmes that meet the needs of our learners
- Assess and evaluate learner progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective learning strategies
- Contribute to the development of our curriculum and learning materials
- Participate in promotional events and activities to raise awareness of our Study Programme
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. CertEd, PGCE, CTLLS, DTLLS)
- Minimum level 2 qualification in maths and English
- Knowledge and understanding of the Study Programme and Functional Skills subject content
- Previous experience of teaching to groups and delivering Employability Skills and Functional Skills qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt and differentiate delivery to meet the needs of our learners
