Housing Operations Manager

James Andrews Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Housing Operations Manager to join their team on a three-month temporary contract. The ideal candidate will have experience in team leadership and operational delivery of services, with a focus on driving improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Operations Manager and fellow Operations Managers to meet regional targets and ensure smooth service delivery across Yorkshire.
  • Use people management skills to motivate, support, and develop your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Balance resources and workflows to achieve targets and contractual compliance, while maintaining core values of care, inclusivity, and integrity.
  • Travel regionally (and occasionally nationally) to meet teams, attend meetings, and collaborate with colleagues, while ensuring effective local leadership.
  • Lead the Housing Managers to improve efficiency and customer experience.
  • Monitor and improve operational performance, ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements across rented and leasehold services.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a housing management role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • A strategic thinker with a passion for improving housing services.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in housing.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Risk assessment and management.
  • Financial management and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and conflict management.

Working Hours:

  • 37 hours per week.
  • Monday – Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm.
