Job Overview

Position: Medical Instrument Transport Specialist

We are currently seeking applications for the role of Medical Instrument Transport Specialist to become a vital part of our dynamic team at Ramsay Health Care. This position is essential for ensuring the timely collection and delivery of medical instruments across various facilities.
As a key player in our Sterile Services Unit, your primary responsibilities will include transporting medical equipment between multiple healthcare locations while adhering to safety and operational protocols.
A valid driving license is mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely transporting trolleys of medical sets and instruments from sterilization units.
  • Accurately scanning and documenting sets/instruments for dispatch.
  • Loading and unloading trolleys into company vehicles, ensuring compliance with weight regulations.
  • Driving to designated healthcare facilities and delivering trolleys efficiently.
  • Collecting used medical sets and instruments for return to the Sterile Services Unit.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven experience working collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
  • Basic computer proficiency is advantageous.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
