About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Territory Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships and generating new business opportunities across our materials characterisation product range.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage existing customer relationships and generate new business opportunities through prospecting, lead generation, and follow-up.
  2. Effectively manage territories with direct responsibility for sales projects and negotiations.
  3. Visit customer sites regularly to give sales presentations, perform instrument demonstrations, and train customers on the correct use of our equipment.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with laboratory managers, PhD level scientists, and technicians.
  5. Travel throughout the defined territory, the UK, and occasionally overseas for training and business meetings.

Requirements:

  • At least two years' experience in selling analytical instruments into a wide range of industries, including pharmaceutical, food and beverage, petro/chemical, and academia.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with laboratory managers, PhD level scientists, and technicians.
  • Availability to travel throughout the defined territory, the UK, and occasionally overseas.
  • Located in the South West of England with easy access to the main road network and holding a full UK driving licence.
