Trade Marketing Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Trade Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing department in Sittingbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and delivering trade marketing plans that drive growth, profitability, and brand awareness in the food industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop and implement account-specific plans that achieve business objectives.
  • Analyse market trends and consumer insights to inform marketing strategies and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Launch new product developments and existing product developments into relevant channels with compelling marketing materials.
  • Develop effective communication materials that align with brand messages and tone of voice.
  • Organise and attend trade shows, events, and product demonstrations to build relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Manage online and social media content to ensure brand consistency and engage with customers.
  • Work with agencies to deliver trade marketing initiatives that meet business objectives.
  • Track and evaluate campaign effectiveness to inform future marketing strategies.
Requirements:
  • University degree in marketing or business.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a trade marketing role, preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to build business networks and relationships.
  • Proficient in marketing and trade marketing tools and techniques.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with an eye for identifying brand growth opportunities.
