Trade Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Trade Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing department in Sittingbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing trade marketing plans that drive growth, profitability, and brand awareness in the food industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with sales teams to create and implement account-specific plans that achieve business objectives.
  • Analyse market trends and consumer insights to inform marketing strategies and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Launch new product developments and existing product developments into relevant channels with compelling marketing materials and clear key performance indicators.
  • Develop effective communication materials that align with our brand messages and tone of voice.
  • Organise and attend trade shows, events, and product demonstrations to showcase our products and build relationships with customers.
  • Manage online and social media content for customer websites to ensure brand consistency and engagement.
  • Work with agencies to deliver trade marketing initiatives that meet our business objectives.
  • Track and evaluate campaign effectiveness to inform future marketing strategies.
Requirements:
  • University degree in marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a trade marketing role, preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Proficient analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to drive business growth.
  • Organised and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.
  • Team player with a willingness to assist colleagues across departments.
  • Knowledge of marketing and trade marketing tools and techniques.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with an eye for identifying business growth opportunities.
