About the Role

As an integral member of our Manufacturing Team, you will play a crucial role in the production and detailing of composite panels, measuring up to 9 meters in length, ensuring they meet high-quality standards.

Your responsibilities will encompass the fabrication of panels and components as specified in work instructions, engineering drawings, work requests, and verbal directives, adhering to both internal and external processes and procedures. This includes certifying your own work when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cutting of aluminum
  • Cutting of plywood
  • Cutting of foam
  • Laminating panels
  • Conducting assembly tasks
  • Following written instructions or working from technical drawings
  • Collaborating effectively within a team
  • Utilizing an online booking system for job ticket management
  • Adhering to budget constraints and identifying related issues
  • Assisting line supervision in mentoring Apprentices/Trainees as needed

Experience/Technical Competence:

  • Significant experience in manufacturing or fabrication, or an equivalent trade

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S methodologies
  • Awareness of Health and Safety, Fire, and Environmental Policies
