Role Overview

As an Offshore Unmanned Vessel Operator, you will play a pivotal role in the operation and maintenance of unmanned surface vessels (USVs) during offshore missions. Collaborating closely with the project team, you will ensure that USV operations are executed successfully while strictly adhering to safety protocols and company standards. Your expertise and commitment to safety will be essential for the effective and efficient completion of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate unmanned surface vessels (USVs) during offshore missions.
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on USV systems and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies at all times.
  • Collect and analyze data obtained from USVs during operations.
  • Monitor and report any issues or irregularities related to USV operations.
  • Work collaboratively with the project team to plan and execute USV missions.
  • Provide training and support to fellow team members on USV operations.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and storage of USV equipment and tools.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience as an Offshore Unmanned Vessel Operator.
  • Certification as a DRIX/USV Operator.
  • Basic Diesel Mechanic knowledge as a DRIX/USV Technician.
  • Familiarity with unmanned surface vessel (USV) systems and operations.
  • Experience in operating and maintaining USVs in offshore settings.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data collected by USVs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Valid offshore certification and relevant qualifications.
