Overview

Capstone Property Recruitment is partnering with a prestigious Interior Design & Architecture Studio to hire an exceptional Design Associate. The Design Associate will lead their project design team to successfully deliver high-caliber projects, combining a strong creative vision with a practical approach. This role is responsible for ensuring that all design work produced by their team meets the company's high standards of quality, timeliness, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individual (UHNWI) client relationships and project presentations.
  • Demonstrate an excellent eye for design and the ability to lead the stylistic direction of projects.
  • Produce and oversee the production of immaculate design presentations.
  • Possess extensive experience in bespoke luxury furniture and joinery design.
  • Take responsibility for the creative output of projects, maintaining strong oversight of project delivery.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering outstanding luxury interior design projects to the highest quality within a dynamic environment.
  • Understand your team's capabilities and strengths, structuring project reviews to ensure deadlines are met and projects are organized and structured.
  • Ensure a deep understanding of luxury standards, executing everything from design presentations to site installations, FF&E items, and dressing to the highest quality.
  • Identify risk factors early, adopt a solutions-based approach, and use good judgment to resolve issues.
  • Oversee high-value and complex FF&E packages on projects successfully.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
  • Experience: At least 7 years' experience in Luxury Interior Design, including a minimum of two years on projects in London and some international experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in an additional language is beneficial but not required.

This role requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in luxury interior design. The ideal candidate will be a creative visionary with the ability to manage and inspire their team to achieve outstanding results.
